Twenty years ago Janet (our mother and grandmother) first visited the Holy Land and she met Issa a craftsman in Bethlehem and toured his work shop and began importing his Olive Wood handicrafts.  For the next 20 years she built an import business within Australia supplying Christians stores.  My Caring Cross began when Janet was diagnosed with cancer and she wanted to make sure that her friend and trading partner Issa would have an outlet for his goods after she was gone.  Her son, Angus and his two boys stepped in to help and began importing the caring cross into America.  Starting with a small website they have grown each year.  The experience has taught the two boys now 12 and 14 about business and entrepreneurship.  But most importantly they have learned the gift of service.
